Membership application and contact

The legal basis is the initiation and performance of the membership relationship (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in handling enquiries (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). The data is used exclusively for this purpose and is not passed on to uninvolved third parties.

Events

For registering for events or submitting contributions, we process the data provided solely to organise and run the respective event.

Recipients and processors

To operate the website we use technical service providers (in particular for hosting) who process personal data exclusively on our behalf and according to our instructions (Art. 28 GDPR).

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the following rights: access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR). Right to lodge a complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority about the processing of your personal data. The authority responsible for us is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
